OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
