REQUIREMENTS:

✔ At least 1-2 year of experience in a restaurant kitchen as line cook.
✔ At least 1-2 year of experience as a kitchen helper
✔ Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen procedures, and knife skills.
✔ Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
✔ Proficiency in reading and following cooking instructions.
✔ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
✔ Ability to stay calm and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
✔ Live in Waterdown/Halton/Hamilton region as bus routes are unreliable in the area

Responsibilities

✅ Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
✅ Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant quality and presentation standards.
✅ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain food quality.
✅ Prep fresh ingredients, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and making sauces.
✅ Stock, organize, and maintain inventory of ingredients and toppings.
✅ Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, slicers, and grills.
✅ Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning as needed.
✅ Handle and prepare meat and poultry following food safety guidelines.
✅ Work quickly and accurately under pressure while maintaining high standards.
✅ Support the kitchen team with various tasks as required.
✅ Ensure proper food storage and maintain cleanliness in prep areas.
