Responsibilities

You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Pre-service kitchen preparation.
  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are served on time and meet presentation guidelines.
  • Preparation of all ingredients and menu items
  • Maintaining food safety, WHS and HACCAP standards
  • Responsible for ensuring the kitchen is always a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
  • Assume some responsibility of all kitchen duties, ordering and compliance

To be considered for these roles, you must display the following:

  • For the Kitchen Hand role, minimum 1 year of hospitality experience in a Kitchen Hand or Sandwich Hand role
  • For the Cook role, minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving stock.
  • Organised and efficient with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn & can-do attitude
