CHEF OR COOK WANTED TO START ASAP

We are looking for 1 new member of staff to work in our catering business called The Seafood Shack. We are located in a picturesque fishing village called Ullapool which is located on the North West coast of Scotland, right on the popular NC500 route. If you come to work with us you will live in a lovely spacious shared house right in the centre of town with only a 3minute walk to work, 5minute walk to the shore front and a 10minute walk to Ullapool Hill which looks over the village and all the Summer Isles
We have the following role available
- Shack cook/chef – This is a role for someone who is happy cooking in the public eye and under pressure. You will be working set hours in The Seafood Shack, although you will muck in with everyone regarding cleaning, washing dishes etc your main role will be cooking throughout service. Experience is definitely preferred but if you are a confident cook then we are happy to train the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who works well under pressure, loves to have fun and can work in a team, this is essential as our work space is very small. In the height of the season we can serve up to 300+ customers a day so services can be very full on. You don’t need to be a professional at cooking shellfish, just as long as you love to cook and keen to learn then we love to teach. If you feel like a summer full of challenges, fun and laughs with a young team of people then this is the job for you.
Rate of pay depends on experience.
