La Crema Reserve Roasteryhas a full-time Cook position available for a passionate, talented, and highly motivated professional. La Crema Reserve Roastery is a collection of the finest coffees the world has to offer. It’s where we uniquely roast for each individual lot and experiment with coffee, from brewing, aging, infusing and blending.
We are the first of our kind in Australia running coffee tours to show the people of Adelaide and Australia that drinking coffee is more.
We are a fully licensed venue which we offer private functions. Our boardroom and meeting rooms are available to hire and we have a fully equipped training studio. Our cupping room is surrounded by glass so you get a glimpse of our world.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate IV level qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management is desired
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the industry
  • Sound culinary knowledge
  • A self-motivated, creative, confident and enthusiastic team leader
  • Well organized, ability to prioritize workload
  • Providing excellent service with a smile and great attitude
  • Applicant who can speak Italian is more preferrable
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $73,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items including meats, vegetables, breakfast dishes, and desserts across all meal services (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Portioning food and garnishing dishes
Monitoring food quality to ensure the standard
Give suggestion about the season menu, in collaboration with other kitchen staffs
Managing food stock, ensure proper storage and reduce food waste
Keep kitchen clean and compliance with food safety and WH&S standard
Training new staffs
