As a Cook and member of the production department, a food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. This position is responsible for support in the areas of production and related activities in a manner that supports the operations of production of the organization at the Fresno, CA plant. Pay: $17.00 - $21.50 an hour Hours: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am Schedule: Monday - Friday (Must be able to work weekends) Location: Fresno, CA Travel Requirements: None Work Environment: Production Core Responsibilities: Supports the mission, values and vision of the company. Maintains the best interest of Lyons Magnus first and foremost. Work with employees of Lyons Magnus in a positive and constructive manner to maintain a professional relationship. Demonstrates courtesy, discretion, friendliness, and diplomacy. Works within a team environment to share information and help others as needed. Responsible for adhering to and completing instructions of formulas provided. Responsible for weighing ingredients to ensure accuracy of specifications. Ensuring that formulas and ingredients are combined to ensure products meet specifications. Provides testing of ingredients through cooking process. Provide measuring and weighing of raw materials; and identifying raw materials for formulations. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge and application of Food and Beverage Manufacturing, including kettle mixers, pumps and heaters; electrical panels. Working knowledge of liquid and powder measurements. Required Qualifications: Strong Forklift, industrial equipment skills required Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred but not mandatory Preferred Qualifications: High School Education preferred.
