With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy. About the role. Prepares food for consumption in quantities for a cafeteria setting. Sets up serving line and ensures condiments and beverages are fully stocked. Operates cash register as needed What you’ll be doing. Assists supervisor in ordering and receiving goods. Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Fill deli display case as needed. Keep all food preparation surfaces clean and sanitized to ensure a clean quality product. Keep an adequate supply of necessary items to include: beverages (hot & cold), ice, condiments, silverware, trays, cups and glasses. Maintain optimum levels of inventory to ensure adequate product availability without losing any to spoilage. On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite. Prepare enough food and in a timely nature to assure the meal is ready for employee’s breaks. Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, and other foods following a wide range of cooking procedures. Read menu to estimate food requirements and prepares ingredients for meals. Receive cash for products and return the correct change using a cash register. Responsible for daily sanitation. Other duties as assigned What you’ll need to be successful. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum three months related experience and/or training. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer usage. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Compensation Package: - Starting at 18.82 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
