Schedule 9:30AM - 6:30PM, Sunday - Thursday About Northwest Children's Home All the children in our care have experience serious trauma. Because of that, they have some intense behavioral issues. They come to us for the therapeutic treatment plans our teams create and carry out. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Retirement Matching Life Insurance Free training Fitness Center Generous Paid Time Off Responsibilities Prepare scheduled menus for residents and staff, following proper sanitation regulations and ensure quality and freshness of meals provided. Prepare and serve meals on time and clean up following meals. Stock inventory as needed, including labeling, dating and using the FIFO method. Receive orders, assure quantity and quality of meals, and communicate food service information, as needed, to other NCH staff. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a drug test and comprehensive background check. Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Minimum 1 year experience with homestyle quantity cooking.
