Description

Oriel House Residential Home is a 33 bedded care home set among landscaped grounds near Stourbridge town centre, with shops and a bus stop within half a mile. We offer residential care and residential dementia care. We also provide palliative care and respite.

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team. Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • To prepare and cook food in order to provide nourishment of a high quality to all residents.
  • To maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas, in accordance with Environmental Health Office Regulations.
  • To work with management on stock control, menu planning and ordering.
  • To communicate with residents on their individual needs, and to assist the management with the Policy of encouraging residents rights on choice.
  • To respect the residents’ privacy, dignity and self respect.
  • To maintain a happy and homely environment
