• Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and knowledge of IDDSI standards

YOUR ROLE

As a Cook you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.

Your tasks will include:

• Prepare and cook daily nutritional balanced meals
• Supervise Domestics and Volunteers directly associated with the kitchen environment (where applicable)
• Prepare menus and involve residents’ in choice and selection where appropriate
• Monitor and comply with Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental practices
• Some Kitchen hand shifts will be required as well as cooking

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• Current Police Screening Certificate
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (where applicable)
• Demonstrated previous cooking experience for large groups would be an advantage
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Previous experience working in an Aged Care kitchen setting will be highly regarded
