We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated cook to join our team.

Location: Auckland

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• NZQF Level 2 qualification (or equivalent), or at least one year of relevant experience (either one is mandatory)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team spirit, with a positive attitude towards collaboration and feedback.

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to standard recipes
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation at all times
• Monitor and regulate cooking equipment such as ovens and grills
• Season and portion food accurately before serving
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Store food properly in temperature-controlled facilities
• Follow food safety regulations and workplace health standards
• Assist in planning menus and estimating food and ingredient requirements
• Prepare food to meet special dietary needs as required
• Support and guide junior kitchen staff when needed
