Job Description
We are currently seeking a Part Time Cook to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. You will be working mainly the breakfast shift, preparing & serving food for the hotel buffet breakfast and assisting in food prep for our all day dining menu and cafe.
This is a great role for someone studying cookery and wanting some experience in a kitchen or for an experienced cook wanting some extra hours.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

  • Experience in buffet breakfast service preferred
  • Deliver consistent, high quality food while maintaining set food cost
  • Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests
  • Have great communication skills & a positive attitude
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Have willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests
  • Food Safety Supervisor certificate or willingness to obtain
    Additional Information
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair
  • Prepare food for all day dining and cafe
  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures
  • Inform management of items needing to be ordered
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Cook is required to wash all dishes during service
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the manager on duty
