Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. * Maintains safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment. * Restocks and/or breaks down workstation at the conclusion of the shift. * Assists in controlling product costs by ensuring the proper management of product waste. * Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met. * Speed, and efficiency are of the utmost importance. Ability to multi-task and organizational structure. * Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Requirements & Qualifications: * WOK COOK EXPERICE A PLUS * High school diploma or GED * Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check. * Legally authorized to work in the U.S. * Have the ability to communicate effectively in English * Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook. * Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage. * An upbeat and friendly attitude. * Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours. * Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. * Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. * Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. * Able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.
