We are in need of an passionate, and energetic Prep Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be assisting the Culinary Team in preparing meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen. The ideal candidate for this position has experience preparing various meals in banquet setting, enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively.
The ideal candidate should possess a burning desire to learn and improve with each passing day; improve the team and constantly push themselves to be better. They are expected to remember and reproduce the same quality and standard everyday.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals and side dishes according to customers’ needs and preferences.
  • Rotating inventory - FIFO.
  • Work all days including weekends based on business demands.
  • Work with minimal supervision and have good organising and planning skills.
  • Able to follow recepies and ensure work is finished in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring the standard and quality of ingredients.
  • Ensuring food is prepared to the exact required standards.
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Store and label items and ingredients as per HACCP.
  • Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
  • Able to life unto 50 lbs and spend long hours on your feet.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
