JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly by preparing ingredients, assisting with meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices.
  • Experience in restaurant or culinary environments is highly desirable.
  • Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
