SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our team at Providence Pointe Healthcare in Western Kentucky. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and service.

• Assist in food preparation and meal service for residents
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Support menu planning and dietary needs of residents
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Provide excellent customer service during meal times
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills
• Uphold the values of compassion and respect in all interactions
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in a dietary department or as a dietary cook
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic culinary skills, including cooking and food preparation
• Experience with menu planning is a plus
• Familiarity with catering or fine dining is desirable
