Description

THE SERVICE

Imagine starting your workday surrounded by tranquil forest landscapes, native birdsong, and the gentle rhythm of a campus alive with learning. Nestled in the heart of the University of Newcastle’s Central Coast campus, KU Ourimbah offers a truly unique early childhood education environment—where nature, creativity, and community come together.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the difference. Free onsite parking, lush surroundings, and regular bus services from Ourimbah Station make commuting simple and stress-free. But it’s once you step inside our purpose-built centre—designed for discovery, connection, and care—that you’ll truly feel at home.
We welcome up to 59 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, creating a close-knit, supportive atmosphere where educators and children grow and thrive together. At the heart of our approach is a rich, play-based curriculum, thoughtfully paired with our Forest Preschool and daily outdoor explorations across the university campus. Our deep connection to nature fuels curiosity and confidence, while laying strong foundations for lifelong learning.
