Job description:
Ressam Gardens Memory Care Community is looking for an enthusiastic team member. Under the direction of the Retirement Home Chef, the cook is responsible for the preparation and production of all meals as listed on the weekly menu, dining room service and additional duties as assigned.
The ideal candidates will possess:
Experience in the dietary and or culinary environment preferred
Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide
Safe Food Handlers Certificate
Competency in written and spoken English
Good interpersonal, communication and organizational ability
Police clearance and 2-Step TB Test
Have a caring and compassionate attitude towards residents, employees and families
