POSITION SUMMARY:

Join our dynamic Food & Beverage team as a Cook, where you’ll play an essential role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This position combines daily kitchen operations with exciting event catering opportunities, from intimate breakfast services to large-scale banquets. We’re looking for a culinary professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings both reliability and creativity to the kitchen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques for large groups.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
  • ServeSafe or equivalent food handler certification – or willing to obtain. (required).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas for new events and menus.
Responsibilities
  • Execute daily kitchen operations, including food prep, service, and cleaning.
  • Prepare and serve meals for events as required.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and organization in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Help ensure food cost efficiency and minimize waste, particularly during special projects or events.
  • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Support set-up, service, and breakdown of food service areas for events.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Manager and Events Coordinator to develop event-specific menus.
  • Uphold food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
