COOK’S ASSITANT

Fox Exploration Ltd. is accepting applications for an experienced COOK’S ASSISTANT for a mineral exploration camp located near Dawson City, Yukon. Fox Exploration provides camp management and support personnel to various clients in the natural resources sector. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Fox Exploration is seeking an individual for the dual role of Cook’s Assistant. You will play a key role at our remote mineral exploration camp by assisting the Head Camp Cook with food preparation, cleaning and catering services. This position reports directly to the Camp Manager. Transportation to and from the job site will be provided on a rotational basis.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of one (1) year working as a Cook’s Assistant is preferred although training can be provided
• FoodSafe certification is an asset
• A quick learner with a team-oriented approach to work
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work long shifts.
  Anticipated Start Date: August 17th, 2025
• Preference will be given to applicants from the Yukon, BC and Alberta due to logistical factors. Only those applicants considered for the role will be contacted.

  Pay: $250.00-$300.00 per day

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

• Help prepare daily meals for camp of approximately 15 personnel.
• Daily cleaning of common areas including the kitchen, dining and shower facilities.
• Help receive and organize food orders.
• Ensure good housekeeping in the work area at all times.
• Follow Food Safe procedures help maintain a safe workplace.
