WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced & qualified cook who is ready to grow with us. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A passion for the customer experience and Italian food - our way
  • Proven experience as a cook in fast-paced, high-volume environments—only qualified and experienced cooks should apply (2+ Years).
  • Strong ability to work under pressure—with precision, speed, and composure.
  • Comfort and confidence working in tight quarters alongside others.
  • Excellent understanding of hygiene, food safety, and efficient workflows.
  • Passion for Italian food, especially panini; attention to detail and taste quality is vital.
  • Personal values aligning with those of our business.
  • A can-do, “leads by example” work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects.

Responsibilities
  • Producing and serving a high volume of Italian paninis—expect well over 500 transactions per busy workday.
  • Managing your station confidently in a high-pressure, small-space environment.
  • Collaborating smoothly in close proximity with several team members—teamwork and communication are a must.
  • Operating during long shifts (8+ hours); stamina and focus are essential.
  • Maintaining efficiency, quality, consistency, and food safety at all times.
  • In collaboration with owners, estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies.
  • Responsible for monitoring food stocks and placing orders.
  • Monitoring and controlling food wastage and portion control on a daily basis.
  • Supervise and coordinate work of other staff members and train them to prepare food to our high standards.

    Pay: $65,000.00 – $79,000.00 per year
