We have a fantastic opportunity for a Cook to join our small friendly team, working at our Nursing Home in Farnham.
Hours Full Time
We are looking for a cook to work 4 or 5 days a week to job share. Actual working hours will be discussed at Interview .
Overall Job purpose:
Our Cooks are key to the hospitality and catering team, You will cook and assist with the quality delivery of service to our residents.
We provide good ‘Home’ cooking and ensure our residents eat well.
Invariably we cater for a wide range of diets including soft diets, gluten free, vegetarian, etc so require an experienced person to devise and cook meals for approximately 38 residents per meal time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooking and delivering of meals
• Ensuring all meals are produced in line with health and hygiene regulations
• Good presentation required for pureed meals
• Accurately completing all monitoring and recording paperwork i.e. HACCP
• Assisting with the compilation of a varied range of menus
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring they are checked, recorded and correctly stored on arrival
• Ensuring that catering equipment is appropriately maintained
• Ensure that the kitchen is kept clean
