Our Commissary Kitchen is the engine behind our expansive prepared foods program, crafting over 700 scratch-made items including Thai and Indian dishes, fresh rolls, hot entrées, soups, and more.
We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, and reliable Cooks to join our Day Shift team at the Commissary. If you have a passion for food, thrive in fast-paced kitchens, and want to be part of a supportive culinary team, we want to hear from you!

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Cook on the day shift, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of menu items from scratch, following standardized recipes and kitchen procedures. You’ll work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the production day.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional cooking experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Experience with multicultural cuisines is an asset
  • Valid Food Handler’s Certification (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cooler environments, and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork and food quality
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes across hot and cold stations, including international and comfort foods
  • Follow daily prep lists and standardized recipes to meet production targets
  • Maintain high standards for taste, presentation, and portion control
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
  • Practice safe food handling and ensure proper sanitation of workstations
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any product shortages or quality concerns
  • Support additional production needs across the Commissary as assigned by kitchen leadership
  • Adhere to all kitchen procedures, food safety regulations, and company policies
