OVERVIEW

The Swardeston Day Centre are inviting applications for the above post. The Day Centre is located at Hilltops, Swardeston at the Lakenham Union Rugby Club premises.
Applicants should have the relevant experience for the above post and must be able to demonstrate good kitchen management skills, have the ability to work with a team of volunteers helpers and ensure that the food is nutritious and suitable for a varied client base. They will report operationally to the day Centre manager or her assistant but ultimately to the Trustees.
This is a permanent, salaried position, and a pension scheme is in operation.
The position is based on operating the centre two days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays) and the successful applicant will also be responsible for managing a small team of volunteer helpers, some of whom have been with us for 30+ years.
The salary, which includes an element of out of hours administration, will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Centre is closed on Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £550.00 per month
Expected hours: 10 per week
