URGENT

We are looking to hire a cook for a restaurant based in Abu Dhabi, Person with 2 year prior experience preferred and can join IMMEDIATELY.
1 year experience

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes.
  • Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep cost within forecast range.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in timely manner by restocking ingredients at workstation and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor or management.
  • Ensuring that checklists and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear instruction to all team members.
  • Maintain the PAR level of all items according to business forecast, stocks as required thru proper preparation versus usage.
  • Ensure basic standard operating procedures for assigned station are in place and are in compliance with Food Authority Department.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of restaurant. Employees who violate Restaurant rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
