About the Role Drift Nashville is seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position supports food production across multiple outlets, including The Sun Room, Dawn Café, Pool Service, and private events. Every day brings something different, making this an ideal opportunity for cooks who enjoy variety, teamwork, and a fast-paced environment. You'll work alongside a talented culinary team to prepare high-quality food while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and consistency our guests expect. What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Set up and stock stations before each service. Work a variety of stations depending on business needs. Support breakfast, lunch, pool, banquet, and special event service. Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Monitor product quality and freshness throughout each shift. Assist with prep, organization, and inventory management. Keep workstations clean, organized, and service-ready. Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members during service. Help create a positive, collaborative kitchen environment. What We're Looking For Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen preferred. Comfortable working multiple stations and adapting to changing business needs. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in a team environment. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Tennessee Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Physical Requirements This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in both indoor kitchen environments and outdoor service areas as business demands.
