We are currently seeking a COOK at TRATTORIA BY ITALIAN KITCHEN in the heart of Burnaby, celebrates la bella vita and a renaissance of a restaurant experience that transports guests to the heart of Italian cuisine, culture and style. Seasonally informed dishes made from scratch are paired with consummate service, an intimate atmosphere and a focused list of wines, cocktails and beer.
A recent floor-to-ceiling renovation imparts a more refined, elegantly appointed, and upscale experience reminiscent of the group’s popular Italian Kitchen on Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver. The newly reimagined Trattoria offers an expansive yet cozy layout that features a variety of private and semi-private rooms, an 18-seat pizza bar and a lush, landscaped 65-seat heated patio that allows guests to indulge in al-fresco dining experiences whatever the weather.
Reporting to the Chef, the COOK is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant. The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.
