The position of Cook in our Aged care sites will give you lots of variety and job satisfaction, as you look after the nutritional needs and health of our residents. This role also leads and supports our hospitality team to assist in meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

• Prepare enjoyable, nutritious meals for our residents on their individual requirements or modified diet
• Liaise with the staff at the centre for feedback on how meals were received and for any updates to dietary requirements.
• Use initiative, be organised and flexible to meet food service needs, including promotion of healthy eating practices.
• Lead and assist the hospitality team in meal preparation and following food handling practices
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to a high-standard.
• Provide prompt courteous service and act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with residents, families, team, and colleagues.
