Here at Westlands Care Home we are looking for a motivated and dedicated Chef to join our friendly and welcoming team for 20 hours a week .This will be on a Thursday and Saturday shift time 8am-6pm. Overtime shifts may be available to cover holiday and sickness .
You will be able to prepare , cook and serve a well balanced diet and nutritious meals along with snacks for our clients. You will be aware of each clients dietary needs ,allergies, likes and dislikes and offer a reflective menu choice.
Afternoon tea is essential to our clients so being able to provide freshly baked cakes, scones etc is a must for this job .

You will also be responsible for-

• Stock monitoring and rotation ,
• Shopping lists ,
• Receiving Deliveries and stock replenishment
• Kitchen audits
• Monitoring of kitchen equipment
• Ensuring the kitchen is compliant with Health and Safety requirements
• Food hygiene
• Maintenance of hygienic kitchen environment . .

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.35-£13.85 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
