We are looking for a passionate and motivated full-time Cook. We are offering an immediate start for the right person with no evening working hours.
The Group is a national privately owned company running Cafes located within major hospitals across Australia and prides itself in providing high quality food and service.

Job Benefits

  • Predominantly Monday to Friday, some weekend work is required
  • Morning hours

Responsibilities

  • Follow the food preparation process and any other relative activities as per the guidelines
  • Follow rotational menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety, quality and portion sizes of the servings
  • Prepare and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
  • Maintain high standards in organizing and keeping the stations clean at all times
  • Maintain HACCP records
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of post qualification experience in the nominated occupation
  • Manage to cook dishes by following recipes in timely manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of international cuisines and ability to follow recipes
  • Experience to work with modern kitchen equipment
  • Culinary related education or certificate
  • Vaccinated against Covid 19

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
