SPIDER PROJECT IS LOOKING FOR A COOKERY VOLUNTEER (UNPAID) FOR OUR PROJECT IN BIRKENHEAD ON FRIDAY LUNCH TIME!
Spider Project is a recovery community hub based in Birkenhead. We offer a safe space to anyone wanting to access our creative timetable of activities which aim to improve confidence, give opportunity and reduce isolation
WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET AND CHAT WITH PEOPLE? ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FUN WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY?
We’re looking for volunteers who can join the cooking team at our Hamilton Street Building in Birkenhead. We would like to offer a new community meal to our members on a Friday at around 1pm.
What do cooking volunteers do?
Our team is made up of 11 staff and all our volunteers are supported by our wonderful Volunteer coordinator who will show you what to do, and be there to guide you through the meal. You don’t need to be available every Friday, and can sign up for as many or as few sessions as you’d like to fit around your own schedule.
In return for your time and support you will get
· The chance to give back to your community.
· Help those overcoming huge life changes and challenges.
· Access to one the timetabled activities in Spider.
· We will cover your petrol or bus fare.
