SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Proven experience (preferred) in retail category management, buying, or merchandising.
Strong knowledge of cookware products, materials, and trends (preferred).
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
Confident communicator with the ability to build supplier and team relationships.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Cookwares Manager, you will be responsible for the selection, sourcing, merchandising, and sales performance of our cookware range. You will ensure our products are of the highest quality, competitively priced, and meet the needs of our customers, both in-store and online. As the store operates seven days a week, weekend work will form part of the rota.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and develop the cookware product range, including sourcing and supplier negotiations.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to drive category growth.
Oversee stock control, forecasting, and replenishment.
Collaborate with marketing teams to plan seasonal promotions and campaigns.
Maintain compliance with all product safety and quality regulations.
Train and support team members to deliver excellent product knowledge and service.
