Cooling Technician / Kylmäteknikko Location: Finland – Field based with regular travel across Finland and the wider Nordics region. Overnight stays expected at least 50% of the time. Schedule: Full-time, with participation in a 24/7 on call rotation. After-hours and weekend work may be required at short notice.   Who are we? We’re looking for a skilled cooling technician with a background in HVAC, refrigeration, cooling, or thermal management to join our service team in Finland. You’ll be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, component replacements, and emergency repairs of Vertiv’s thermal management products as well as other contracted systems. A key part of the role is providing technical support to customers and internally, while building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, sales managers, distributors, and other stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants a varied, field based technical role with modern technology and strong development opportunities in an international company.   What you’ll be doing Your day to day will involve responding professionally and efficiently to all assigned service calls, performing planned maintenance, commissioning, and repairs to a high standard. You’ll coordinate with back office and scheduling teams to plan, update, and close work orders, and complete all job documentation accurately and on time. You’ll provide technical support and guidance on complex issues, build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, and report potential sales or service leads to the relevant department.
