Overview Responsible to the OR Manager for the operation and administration of the Service Specialty, including effective management of clinical systems, human resources, finances and the work environment. Promotes multi-disciplinary collaborative practice with physicians and other departments, performs in-depth patient needs, develops and monitors patient care standards, and promotes the overall goals and objectives of the department’s mission. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required: EDUCATION: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama Licensure. EXPERIENCE: Extensive Operating Room experience. Demonstrates leadership ability. Management experience desirable. Additional Skills/Abilities: BCLS required (must be completed within the Provisionary Period).
