We are seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join the Customs Team at the company’s office in San Pedro Sula. Responsibilities: Compile and review require customs documentation, create manifests, provide administrative support including generation of reports as well as assisting drivers with their documentation to achieve customs clearance. Review release requests from carriers/freight forwarders, determine their ETA, as well as the accuracy of documents provided by carriers, and work with all parties to obtain any missing documents and information as required. Prepare and process customs (ACE/ACI/PAPS/PARS) documentation according to outlined rules, regulations, and procedures. Provide internal customers with status of imported shipments. Assisting drivers with documents (ensuring that drivers obtain necessary signatures on Bills of Lading, complete their manifests) to ensure they get a customs clearance. Bachelor’s degree - Ideally in Customs/Logistics Strong customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills required Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly. Positive attitude with good people skills.
