motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our dynamic team!

Role Overview: As the Accounts Payable Coordinator at Browns, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the finance team’s daily operations. In this role, your attention to detail, time management, and ability to work with numbers will be essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, from purchase orders to payment processing and vendor record maintenance.
  • Processing and reviewing vendor expenses and payments in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements and ensure timely, accurate data entry of employee expenses into the accounting system.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
  • Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all payments and reconciliations are completed in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
  • Take on additional accounting tasks and administrative duties as needed to support the finance team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and handle repetitive processes with a high degree of efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude to problem-solving.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, D365 or similar) is an asset.
