Overview Responsible for the daily operations of Outpatient or Inpatient admissions including: statistical data collection and analysis, coordination of daily activities and operations, and reporting any impacts to senior management. Responsibilities will include significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders and other parties relative to the further development of collaborative services, including but not limited to, authorizations, patient registration, referral management, and scheduling. In addition, related responsibilities will include hiring, supervising and staffing; performance review documents; monitoring front-line productivity and quality of work standards. Representation in meetings with our clinical peers to ensure excellent workflows and outcomes. Working supervisor as needed. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of Outpatient or Inpatient Admissions, ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery. Perform statistical data collection, analysis, and reporting, with an emphasis on identifying trends and operational impacts. Coordinate daily activities across departments and report significant issues or developments to senior management. Maintain significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams and external partners. Contribute to the development and refinement of collaborative services, including but not limited to: Authorizations Patient registration Referral management Scheduling Hire, supervise, and staff front-line personnel, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient team operations. Prepare and deliver performance review documents, offering constructive feedback and development plans. Monitor and evaluate productivity and quality standards for front-line staff, ensuring compliance with departmental goals. Represent the department in interdisciplinary meetings with clinical peers to optimize workflows and improve patient outcomes. Act as a working supervisor when needed, stepping in to support team functions during peak times or staffing shortages. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education: High school diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. A four-year degree may substitute for two years of financial or medical practice experience. A two-year degree may substitute for one year of financial or medical practice experience. Experience: Minimum of two years of financial or medical practice experience required. One year of supervisory experience preferred. One year of patient registration experience strongly preferred. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver. (A non-frequent driver is someone who does not drive daily, more than five times per week, or over 150 miles weekly.) Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.
