About the Role In this short term role, you will provide leadership and guidance to the Amenity Protection, Permits & Review team, which includes Health & Amenity Officers, Infringements, Business Support and School Crossings. You will gain valuable insight into this community facing area of the business, in a role that blends strategy with busy operational requirements. Develop your management expertise in a supportive, collaborative environment and gain exposure to key areas of Community Safety & Regulation. Employment Type: Fixed Term – 14 weeks (to 4 July 2026) * Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring the unit meets its performance targets in key areas like safety, customer experience, and legislative compliance. * Manage resources, track performance, and ensure all projects are delivered effectively and efficiently. * Collaborate with managers across the organisation to execute the Community Safety & Regulation strategies. About you To be successful in this role, you will have previous exposure in leading a team, strong organisational / time management skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people. The role is ideally suited to someone looking to develop their leadership skills and take the next step in their career. * Well-developed writing, presentation, and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and achieve support for objectives. * Well-developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build cooperation and partnerships. * Skills in business planning and budget management are highly regarded.
