EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 2+ years of directly related fundraising or marketing experience.
  • Experience working with multiple channels of distribution, including mail, digital and telemarketing.
  • Experience in creative writing.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communication, Creative Industries or related field.
  • Experience in social media and email marketing is an asset.
  • Strong competencies in Windows environment and with Microsoft Office software, including (but not limited to) Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Campaign Monitor, or similar email marketing platform, an asset.

Responsibilities

I. SCOPE AND SUMMARY OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

CNIB requires a skilled and enthusiastic direct marketer to support the growth of the annual giving program. As the Coordinator, Annual Giving, this individual will play a key role in fulfilling the day-to-day objectives of the Direct Mail, Tribute and Mid-Level Giving programs.
Reporting into the Manager, Annual Giving, the Coordinator will lend essential support in areas such as campaign creation and administration, fulfillment, stewardship, and donor engagement, all in an effort to provide a seamless donor experience.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist the Manager, Annual Giving in all areas of CNIB’s Direct Mail campaigns, including creative, data, and production.
  • Maintain administrative check lists across all annual giving campaigns to support the timely and accurate completion of each key step.
  • Review and approve direct mail dumps, counts and lives and cross-examine data for alignment with campaign strategy.
  • Support the Manager, Annual Giving on the execution of all aspects of CNIB’s Mid-Level giving program from acquisition to retention to stewardship and reactivation.
  • Perform fulfillment tasks related to varying annual giving campaigns throughout the year.
  • Work with the Manager, Annual Giving to create and implement a new donor onboarding journey.
  • Support the Manager, Annual Giving with content gathering, either by reviewing existing content or connecting with other business units to gather new content.
  • Maintain archives of digital campaign collateral that can be shared with other teams to keep them well-informed on what’s in market.
  • Coordinate updates to existing thank you letters and direct marketing materials as required.
  • Monitor stock levels of printed collateral (cards, envelopes, brochures) and reorder as required.
