Job Description – Receiving & Distribution Coordinator (Entry Level) Hours: 40 hours/week Schedule: Flexible start time; fixed end time to meet daily shipping deadlines Experience Level: Entry level (1 year preferred, not required) Overview This role supports Starbucks’ success by performing daily receiving, intake, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. This is an entry‑level position, and training will be provided. The role models and acts in accordance with Starbucks’ guiding principles. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Perform day‑to‑day receiving, intake, and distribution tasks Ensure timely processing of records and packages to meet afternoon shipping deadlines Maintain strong attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail Manage multiple tasks throughout the day with changing priorities Work collaboratively within a small, tight‑knit team Records Management Organize and maintain partner records filing systems Coordinate offsite archival storage as needed Utilize automated systems for file inventory updates Respond to requests for file information (scanning, copying, emailing, etc.) Use a computer for file updates and documentation Team & Work Environment Team of fewer than 10 employees with high tenure Highly collaborative and interactive environment Primarily internal team interaction, with occasional external partner communication Role requested due to budget constraints preventing full‑time headcount approval Potential for extension or conversion depending on business needs Required Skills & Qualifications Entry‑level role; 1 year of experience preferred but not required Ability to lift up to 20 lbs Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and climb a step ladder Basic skills in: Administrative support Data entry Filing and sorting Customer service Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel) Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with records management Top Skills Administrative support Customer service Microsoft Excel Filing & data entry Sorting & document handling Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
