JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Communications Coordinator to support the execution of internal and external campaigns and initiatives that elevate our brand and support key business objectives. This fast-paced, entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to grow in the luxury hospitality industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in communications or public relations
  • Strong writing, editing and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with ability to work partial remote
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Responsibilities
  • Assist with media relations, including press inquiries, outreach, and coordinating visits and stays
  • Support the development of press materials such as releases, Q&As, biographies and talking points
  • Ensure brand message consistency across all channels
  • Assist with drafting and publishing internal communications for The Breakers’ team member app
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support their communications needs
  • Maintain press archives and monitor media coverage
  • Compile performance reports and assist with administrative tasks including billing and media clipping
  • Support crisis communications as needed
  • Stay informed on industry trends and share relevant insights
