Introduction: The Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan, recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational units: Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Population & Reproductive Health, Environmental Health, and Non-communicable Diseases & Mental Health. A research trial “Co-administration of calcium and multiple micronutrient supplements for maternal and newborn hemoglobin and iron status (CaMMS)” is being led and conducted by the Department of Community Health Sciences; to evaluate the impact of co-administration of multiple micronutrient supplements (MMS) and calcium, relative to separate administration, on hemoglobin and iron status of pregnant women and their infants. Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: provide comprehensive logistical and administrative support to research teams, including coordination with internal departments to facilitate smooth project implementation. prepare, maintain and monitor records of requests for payment and purchase requisitions, and coordinate with finance and procurement departments to ensure timely processing and payment. order projects supplies and raise purchase requisitions through PeopleSoft and maintain records. coordinate inventory management and stock control of research-related supplies and assets, ensuring availability in line with project needs and maintaining updated asset and stock registers. provide administrative support in HR-related matters, training sessions, and research-related workshop/events. maintain, organize, and safeguard project documentation, records and files, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and accessibility in accordance with the institutional policies. arrange and manage field transport and logistics, including transport contracts, in coordination with PSCM and relevant units. preparing petty cash vouchers, statements, payment requests, and handling Projects cash with accuracy. And follow up to reimbursements payment with finance. prepare required advances cash for projects and following up for their settlement. prepare and maintain Requests of Payment and follow up with Finance for timely payments. assist to the Manager in conducting projects related physical inventory audit and maintaining record. provide study laboratory test charges billing related information to the Manager and maintain the relevant records. Requirements: You should have: a bachelor’s degree at least three years of relevant experience in a recognised and research-based institution competent understanding of administrative processes and the ability to liaise with other offices at the university. skills in coordination, situation analysis, and problem solving flexibility to work for extended hours/off days. good interpersonal and communication skills ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently and resilience to cope-up with the work pressure. strong interpersonal, communication and multitasking skills proficiency in MS Office, including Excel ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently ability to handle office correspondence independently Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted
