Description:
We have a bold vision of a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS). For 75 years, we have been living our mission to connect and empower the MS community to create positive change and you can be part of that! Our team is looking for a Coordinator, Community Volunteer Experience, in Western Canada (Alberta/British Columbia), on a 12-month contract basis working 35 hours per week. We support flexible work options; with some purposeful based in-person meetings, based on your location. Please apply by October 31, 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers a positive volunteer experience throughout the life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and support.
- Drives staff-volunteer partnerships across community to foster volunteer engagement and build a strong volunteer pipeline.
- Supports volunteer engagement and recognition in partnership with the volunteer’s portfolio, such as identifying opportunities for growth and meaningful engagement with the organization.
- Provides input on volunteer strategy, such as identifying recruitment needs in collaboration with cross-portfolio colleagues
