JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator in Cultivation plays a crucial role in supporting the cultivation processes within a facility, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to cultivation schedules. This position involves assisting in the management of cultivation activities, maintaining cultivation records, and collaborating with cultivation teams to optimize plant growth and quality.
Main Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivation Support:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of cultivation activities, including planting, watering, feeding, and pruning plants.
  • Collaborate with cultivation supervisors to ensure adherence to cultivation schedules and protocols.
  1. Data and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate cultivation records, documenting growth stages, treatments, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor and record environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and light levels.
  1. Facility Maintenance:
  • Support in maintaining cleanliness and organization within cultivation areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Assist in monitoring equipment functionality and reporting maintenance needs promptly.
  1. Harvesting and Processing Assistance:
  • Aid in the harvesting and processing of plants, including trimming, drying, and packaging, as per standard procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality control standards during harvesting and processing.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cultivation team members to facilitate effective communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Provide support and assistance to team members as needed to maintain productivity.

Accountabilities:
1. Assistance in the smooth execution of cultivation activities in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
2. Maintenance of accurate cultivation records and compliance with cultivation protocols and quality standards.
3. Collaboration and coordination with cultivation teams to ensure efficient and effective cultivation operations.
4. Support in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and functionality within cultivation areas.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Basic understanding of plant cultivation techniques and practices (e.g., watering, feeding, pruning).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining cultivation records and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Basic knowledge of cultivation equipment operation and maintenance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in horticulture or related fields is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in cultivation, agriculture, horticulture, or related roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cannabis cultivation practices, compliance, and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation purposes.
