You like complex data puzzles. As a data specialist, you convert data into useful information so that we can advise our customers properly. We help our customers use their locomotives, trains, trams and metros as efficiently as possible. You will make sure that the data infrastructure for real-time monitoring, predictive models, pattern recognition and condition based maintenance are up and running. You start your day by contacting the customer. How is everything going? Are there any irregularities? You will be constantly analysing and critically reviewing all processes. You will be keeping an overview and will be monitoring data flows and applications. As a data coordinator you constantly recognise new data-driven opportunities to improve our services. As a data specialist at Alstom, these are your duties:

• maintaining close contact with customers
• actively understanding customer needs and exploring opportunities
• internal consultation with our system designers in France
• reporting and documentation, e.g. for our own management and for the customer
• translating of practical problems into solutions
• defining standard rules to analyse vehicle diagnostic data
• contributing to a stable data infrastructure
• create and communicate service orders (and other relevant comunication) to the customer
