Responsibilities

As Coordinator Development Assessment, you will:

  • Lead and supervise the planning team
  • Assess and determine development applications in line with legislation and internal KPIs
  • Provide expert planning advice to stakeholders
  • Facilitate pre-lodgement meetings and strategic planning initiatives
  • Represent Council in legal proceedings, including the NSW Land and Environment Court
  • Monitor and improve internal planning processes
  • Prepare high-quality reports and contribute to budget planning
