• Maintaining the stock to ensure that all required parts for any repair or service is readily available.
• Ensuring stock safety.
• Submitting all requirements for verification & approval.
• Ensuring that all Workshop staff are shown the utmost courtesy and consideration.
• Ensuring that all parts are in good condition and suitable for use.
• Understanding the workshop requirements to ensure accurate delivery time.
• Issuing the stock in accordance with policy.
• Ensuring that absence of any unauthorised withdrawal from the stock.
• Updating & maintaining the stock control system.
• Maintaining documents and records.
• Assisting workshop staff in the process of parts identification and replacements.
• Updating all necessary documents and requisitions accurately in the stock control system.
• Updating & maintaining manufacturer’s lists and manuals.
• Notifying the supervisor in case of any defects in the incoming goods.
• Ensuring that the store area is always clean.
• Ensuring that QHSE standards are always maintained.
• Reporting to the supervisor on departmental problems.
