JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Food & Beverage (F&B) supports the F&B Operations team, including IT, by managing communications, reports, trends, and project tasks. The role collaborates across the F&B team to coordinate a multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring alignment, efficiency, and delivery of business objectives.
This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with Food & Beverage team members to develop and refine messaging to theatres regarding upcoming projects (AMC This Week, All Access, Standard Operating Procedures, Execution Guides).
  • Research and respond to theatre inquiries related to Food & Beverage initiatives to streamline resolution times.
  • Support Food & Beverage leaders with travel coordination, budget tracking, presentations, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to align departments and manage meetings on Food & Beverage initiatives.
  • Lead tactical project-related tasks such as key map requests, meeting materials, and webinars.
  • Support the creation and improvement of processes and procedures to deliver best-in-class products

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 2+ years of theatre management, theatre support, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong knowledge of theatre or restaurant operations.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to listen and incorporate feedback.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and shifting priorities.
  • Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity in a changing environment.
  • Commitment to collaborative leadership and team success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Previous restaurant or foodservice experience.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Passion for the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Experience with Food Cost, Labor, and Profit & Loss management.
  • Presentation skills to present strategic initiatives to senior management.
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to engage in healthy discussions and debates.
  • Ability to build and maintain industry-centric professional relationships.
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to embrace new ideas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
