Position Title: Coordinator for Hospitality Reports to: Associate Director of Hospitality Status: Full-time, Support Staff (40 hours/week) Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2 Sundays/month and occasional all-church events Send us the following information to be considered for this position: · Your resume · Your cover letter · Links to your social media Job Purpose and Goals: This position provides high-level coordination of people, processes, and activities in support of the Hospitality ministry at Lincoln Berean Church. The role partners with the Associate Director, staff, and volunteers to create welcoming environments that help people connect relationally and engage in the life of the church. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus more than anything, loves people, has high energy, genuine warmth and an incredible ability to build Christ-centered relationship with anyone. The five Key Roles for this ‘seat’ are: · First Impressions · Assist with Volunteer Team Duties · Project Planning and Management · Administrative Support · Hospitality Events Key Roles and Responsibilities: First Impressions · Provide hospitality to guests and newcomers by creating a warm and welcoming environment with easy navigation and appropriate levels of information and connection · Coordinate messaging and channels in public spaces with the Communications Team · Identify volunteer development gaps and help implement training solutions Assist with Volunteer Team Duties · Interact and provide assistance to the volunteer teams with a high-level of warmth and care · Oversee and replenish volunteer supplies for the various Hospitality Teams · Prepare documents and resources for weekend services and volunteer teams Project Planning and Management · Plan and manage volunteer training/appreciation events and large events like Christmas and Easter · Coordinate the execution of large events within Hospitality ministry, such as concerts, conferences, etc. · Primary ownership and coordination of the Hospitality Ministry calendar (ensure all events work in collaboration with other key ministry areas of the church) Administrative Support · Enter and ensure all receipts are entered properly in Bill in addition to filling out expense reports in Shelby · Budget tracking and producing monthly/quarterly budget reports for the Ministry Group Manager · General coordination support like note-taking, printing, copying, laminating, etc. Hospitality Events · In collaboration with the Associate Director, create and manage all reservations and events using eSpace and Ministry Platform · Oversee calendar management & meeting logistics · Provide reports for volunteer numbers over weekends services and other important data points related to Hospitality Competencies and Skills: To perform the job successfully, the following competencies should be demonstrated: · Strong interpersonal and hospitality skills required · Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal) · Professional, team-oriented, positive attitude · Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines · Self-directed, problem solver Education and Experience: · BA in related field preferred · Experience in Hospitality-related field preferred Character, Calling and Chemistry: · Christ Centered: you build your life around Jesus, with an open heart allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and inspire · Team Oriented: you love building a team, being able to work across teams and to partner with ministries, using the skills and gifts of others to create a better outcome · People Savvy: you relate well to all kinds of people and cultures – inside and outside the church as well as cross culturally; you can effortlessly build rapport, constructive and effective relationships · Self-Awareness: you know your personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and limits; you seek feedback and gain insights from mistakes; you are open to criticism and are not defensive · Trustworthy: you are honest and consider discretion and confidentiality a priority Must make Lincoln Berean Church their home church and participate in the life of the community (Life Group).
