SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oreinted Coordinator of HR, Safety Compliance and Asset Support to load and coordinate key operational functions. This role is responsible for overseeing human resources practices, ensuring workplace safety compliance, and managing company and 3rd party assets efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong backgoiund in HR, safety regulations and asset lifecycle management.

SAFETY AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE

  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings in person and by conference calls. Providing notes, and follow up action lists
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Document and record keeping
  • Creation of Job Descriptions and Job Hazard Assesments

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Occupational safety, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experinece in HR and/or safety compliance roles preferably in an industrial or distribution environment.
  • Proven experience in compliance or regulatory affairs is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong Computer skills and familiarity with a number of applications and the Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
